OzU VR Lab is collaborating in an Erasmus plus project together with the Drum Lab ( Dynamic Research on Urban Morphology Lab). The project is called; Immersive Design and New Digital Competencies for the Rehabilitation and Valorization of the Built Heritage.

The project aims to support the updating of skills and competencies through an inclusive approach to the built heritage intervention with the use of new technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Immersive Interactive Experience (IIE), and advanced 3D modeling. The main focus of the program is forming new Training toolkits for Immersive Design Experts and other stakeholders working in the field of Cultural Heritage. Besides Özyeğin University 5 more European universities and 2 professional companies are involved. The project will take two years to finalize.
